How to Install Actions & Stuff on Minecraft Bedrock

Before you install

Make sure you know which Minecraft edition you are using.

The hosted v1.10 file used on this site is an older Actions & Stuff release. Do not assume that an old pack version is automatically the best match for every newer Minecraft build. Check Actions & Stuff compatibility when version matching is important.

Install on Android

1. Download the Actions & Stuff .mcpack.
2. Open the folder where your browser saved the file.
3. Tap the .mcpack.
4. If Android asks which application should open it, select Minecraft.
5. Minecraft should launch and begin importing the pack.
6. Wait for the import to finish before closing the game.
7. Open the world where you want to use Actions & Stuff.
8. Edit the world’s settings and open Resource Packs.
9. Find the imported pack under the available or owned packs and activate it.
10. Start the world and check that the visual changes are active.

If Android does not offer Minecraft when you tap the file, use the file manager’s Open with or Share options and select Minecraft if it is available.

Install on iPhone or iPad

1. Download the .mcpack to your iPhone or iPad.
2. Open the downloaded file from Safari or the Files app.
3. If iOS displays a share sheet instead of opening Minecraft directly, choose Minecraft.
4. Let Minecraft open and complete the import.
5. Open or edit the world where you want to use the pack.
6. Go to Resource Packs and activate the imported Actions & Stuff pack.
7. Load the world and check that the pack is active.

If Minecraft does not appear as an option, open the file in the Files app and use Share to look for Minecraft.

Install on Windows 10 or Windows 11

This process applies to Minecraft for Windows / Bedrock Edition, not Java Edition.

1. Download the .mcpack to your PC.
2. Open File Explorer and locate the downloaded file.
3. Open the .mcpack.
4. If Windows asks which app should handle the file, choose Minecraft for Windows.
5. Allow Minecraft to launch and complete the import.
6. Edit the world where you want to use the pack.
7. Open Resource Packs.
8. Activate Actions & Stuff.
9. Load the world and confirm that the pack is working.

If a different application opens the .mcpack, use Windows Open with and select Minecraft for Windows.

Choosing an Actions & Stuff texture style

Current Oreville documentation describes three Actions & Stuff experiences:

• Full Experience — the complete Actions & Stuff presentation.
• Vanilla Experience — keeps the animations and 3D items while using a more vanilla-style texture presentation.
• Custom Experience — designed to make it easier to combine Actions & Stuff with another texture pack.

The wording or selector displayed by Minecraft may vary between Actions & Stuff versions. Use the options actually shown inside the pack you installed.

If the import works but the pack is not active

An import and an activation are two different steps.

A successful import only means Minecraft has accepted the pack. You still need to activate it for the world where you want to use it.

If Actions & Stuff appears in your available packs but the world still looks unchanged:

• confirm that the pack is activated for that world;
• check whether another resource pack is also changing the same visuals;
• verify that the pack version and Minecraft build are a sensible match;
• reload the world after changing the active pack order.

What about Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch?

Do not use this manual .mcpack procedure as the main console installation route.

Actions & Stuff is available through Minecraft Marketplace for Bedrock. Console users should use the Marketplace workflow described in the console and Marketplace guide.

What about Java Edition?

A Bedrock .mcpack is not a Java resource-pack format. If you use Minecraft Java Edition, read Actions & Stuff and Java Edition instead of trying to rename or extract the file and treat it as a Java pack.
