How to Update Actions & Stuff
Updating Actions & Stuff depends on how you got the pack. A Marketplace purchase and a manually imported historical `.mcpack` do not use the same update path. For full setup and resource guides, visit Action and Stuff APK.
Before changing anything, identify the version you have and whether it came from Minecraft Marketplace or from a manual archive.
Current version context
At our September 2026 review, Oreville Studios’ official website presents Actions & Stuff 1.11.1 as the current featured release. The historical download pages on ActionAndStuff.pro include older files such as v1.10 and v1.10.1.
Do not call an archive file ‘updated’ simply because you re-imported it.
If you use the Marketplace version
For the creator-published product, manage the content through Minecraft and the account/platform that owns it. Open the current Actions & Stuff listing or owned-content area and let Minecraft handle the version available to your account.
If Minecraft shows a newer creator version than the one you remember installing, read the current product/changelog information before troubleshooting old screenshots or old menu labels.
If you use a manually imported MCPACK
A manual MCPACK remains the release contained in that file. To move to a different manual release, you need the specific newer file from a source you trust and have the right to use.
ActionAndStuff.pro does not silently replace the v1.10 archive link with whatever is newest. That stability is intentional: an archive page should keep representing the version named on the page.
Back up important worlds first
Resource-pack changes are usually visual, but version changes can alter how a world looks and how multiple packs interact. Before a major Minecraft update or a pack-version change, keep a backup of worlds you care about.
This is especially useful if you use multiple resource packs or a Realm that other people depend on.
A safe manual update sequence
- Record which Actions & Stuff version is currently active.
- Back up important worlds.
- Test the new version in a temporary world when possible.
- Import the new MCPACK with Minecraft Bedrock.
- Edit the target world and select the intended Actions & Stuff pack.
- Check pack order if another texture pack is active.
- Load the world and inspect the visuals before removing your old archive file.
Avoid destructive cleanup until you know the new release works for your setup.
Do not match Minecraft and pack numbers visually
Minecraft’s own version number and Actions & Stuff’s version number belong to different products. A Minecraft build containing ‘1.21’ does not mean you need an Actions & Stuff version with the same digits.
Use documented compatibility instead of number matching.
If the update looks wrong
If a newer Actions & Stuff release produces missing textures, unexpected models or pack conflicts, test it by itself in a simple world and verify Minecraft is current enough for that release.
Do not immediately delete old worlds or reinstall Minecraft.
Need the archive instead?
If you are intentionally returning to a historical release, use the archive and version pages rather than treating an old file as the current product.
